JSW MG Motor India has announced that its upcoming MG Windsor PRO will be equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), offering 12 safety features with multiple warning types to enhance driver and passenger safety.
The Windsor PRO, a follow-up to the company’s best-selling electric vehicle in India, will include ADAS technology that provides audio, visual, and haptic warnings. Features in the safety package include Traffic Jam Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Departure Warning.
Beyond safety enhancements, the vehicle will introduce Vehicle-to-Load and Vehicle-to-Vehicle technology, expanding functionality beyond basic transportation needs. These features allow owners to utilize the vehicle’s electrical system for purposes beyond driving.
The original MG Windsor has maintained a leading position in India’s electric vehicle market since its launch. The model combines elements of sedan spaciousness with SUV utility, positioning it as an option for consumers seeking both practicality and premium features.
JSW MG Motor India is a joint venture formed in 2023 between SAIC Motor and JSW Group. The partnership focuses on developing diverse vehicle options with advanced technologies while working to strengthen the manufacturing landscape in India through localization efforts.
