Metro service from Motera in Ahmedabad to Sector-1 and GIFT City in Gandhinagar will be affected for five hours during the morning hours of Saturday, April 19.
According to a statement from the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) on Thursday, the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) will inspect the Gandhinagar route (From Motera Stadium to Sachivalaya/Gift City) between 8 am and 12.30 pm on Saturday. “Thus, Metro train services shall remain suspended between Motera Stadium and Sector-1/Gift City,” said the statement.
Thereafter, all trains between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar will be running as per the existing timetable. The departure timing for the first train from Sector-1 to Motera Stadium will be 12.58 pm. Similarly, the first train will leave from Motera Stadium to Sector-1 at 1.12 pm.
Train services in Ahmedabad (from Vastral Gam to Thaltej Gam and APMC to Motera Stadium) will run as per the existing timetable.
