These market expansions align with the company’s ‘Go to Customer’ strategy, targeting regions experiencing increased aspirations and preference for luxury vehicles, Mercedes said.
The new 32,000 sq. ft. facility in Agra, operated by Prime Star, marks Mercedes-Benz’s first luxury presence in the city with both showroom and workshop services. Located in Agra’s automobile hub on NH-19, the facility provides comprehensive services including vehicle sales, aftersales support, and a BEV charging facility. The showroom follows Mercedes-Benz’s global guidelines and integrates digital tools for consultations, supported by trained professionals to deliver enhanced customer experiences.
“Agra is an important market for Mercedes-Benz, having an affluent customer base and an increasing demand for Mercedes-Benz vehicles,” said Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO of Mercedes-Benz India. “Debuting in Agra is part of Mercedes-Benz’s ‘Go to Customer’ strategy and further strengthens the desire for our world-class products and differentiating service standards. The aspirations of customers in Agra are evolving fast, as we witness a strong affinity for our Ultra-Luxury portfolio in the market.”
The Prime Star Agra facility features a Top-End Vehicle Lounge, hospitality services, and a handover bay for vehicle deliveries. The showroom embodies Mercedes-Benz’s retail format, emphasizing design, architecture, customer-oriented processes, and digital enhancements. Customers will have access to the complete Mercedes-Benz model lineup, including ultra-luxury vehicles like the S-Class Maybach.
Harshit Bajaj, Investor, Prime Star stated, “We are delighted to bring Mercedes-Benz’s luxury experience to Agra, a city known for its heritage and growing appetite for premium experiences. This dealership offers a comprehensive ecosystem under one roof, from personalized consultations to hospitality and aftersales services, ensuring an elevated ownership experience.”
