Manoj Bajpayee Joins Hands With Ram Gopal Varma for Police Station Mein Bhoot, First Look Out

Almost 27 years after Satya, Kaun and Shool, Ram Gopal Varma and Manoj Bajpayee are once again joining hands for a film, and this time, it is a horror-comedy titled Police Station Mein Bhoot. The duo have completed the first schedule of their film.

The actor shared the first motion poster that shows him dressed as a police man with a creepy doll in his arms. As the actor clutches the blood-covered doll, an eerie voice whispers, “I see you.” Sharing the poster, Bajpayee called it a ‘full circle’ moment and wrote, “#PoliceStationMeinBhoot  SHOOT BEGINS

From Satya to now… some journeys are meant to come full circle. Thrilled to reunite with @rgvzoomin after nearly three decades for our new horror comedy Police Station Mein Bhoot. This one is special.”

Manoj Bajpayee last collaborated with Ram Gopal Varma on the 2017 film Sarkar 3. The actor spoke to Mid-Day recently about reuniting with the director and said, “He is the same old magician, still weaving magic. I was the same young guy, still in awe of his craft of filmmaking. I was like a little boy standing in a candy store. Earlier, I did not have much to say to anyone. But now, I’ve aged, as has Ramu. All of us have gone through many ups and downs in our lives and careers. With that, we’ve all gained wisdom. So now, whatever he says, I try to grasp it; I try to understand his vision.”

The actor had revealed that they have completed the first schedule and will regroup again in October and shoot till November. The film also stars Genelia Deshmukh.

Meanwhile, the actor is also gearing up for Inspector Zende along with Jim Sarbh. It is a comedy-thriller that stars Bajpayee as the titular character and Sarbh as Carl Bhojraj, a character inspired by Charles Sobhraj. It will be released on Netflix on September 5.
