Manchu Manoj on Wednesday staged a dharna outside Mohan Babu’s house in Jalpally. He was protesting alleged misbehaviour by his father and step-brother, Manchu Vishnu.
As per Manchu Manoj, Vishnu recently took away his car and other belongings forcibly. He claimed that he had no other place to stay. He alleged that some articles were vandalized at his residence and thrown away at an undisclosed location. “They have torn apart even my childhood photos and other things. I have complained to a Circle Inspector, who is empathetic but hasn’t taken any action so far,” Manoj said.
Upon Mohan Babu’s police complaint, security was beefed up around Mohan Babu’s residence ahead of Manoj’s arrival. The police set up a check-post one kilometer away from the residence to prevent Manoj from mobilizing support.
Curiously, Manchu Manoj also claimed that Vishnu is upset with him for planning to release Bhairavam in competition against Kannappa. Bhairavam co-stars Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Nara Rohit and Manoj, none of whom have any box-office pull. Kannappa stands a better chance and that’s because of Prabhas’ cameo.
