Through this collaboration, Luminis aims to apply its Omni Biome AI platform and genomics tools to address challenges such as soil degradation, inconsistent yields, rising agricultural diseases, and climate-related stresses. Rachelle Jensen, CEO of Luminis, noted that the collaboration brings together scientific tools, networks, and financial support to introduce microbiome-based solutions in Indian farming. The company is also investing in developing genomic data infrastructure through Next Generation Sequencing and AI, with the goal of deploying these technologies in India’s agri-food systems.
