Automobili Lamborghini has reported exceptional financial results for 2024, with revenue exceeding €3 billion for the first time in company history. The Sant’Agata Bolognese-based manufacturer posted €3.09 billion in revenue, representing a 16.2% increase compared to 2023.
Operating income reached a record €835 million, up 15.5% from the previous year, with operating margin holding steady at 27%. The company delivered 10,687 vehicles globally, breaking the 10,000-unit barrier for a second consecutive year and achieving 5.7% year-on-year growth.
“Evolving the entire product range while continuing to grow: this is how we can summarize another record year for Automobili Lamborghini,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO. He noted that growth occurred across all three major regions – Americas, EMEA, and APAC – despite competitive market conditions.
The results cap an 18-month transformation period during which Lamborghini completely revamped its product lineup. The company introduced three new models, starting with the Revuelto, its first V12 high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV), followed by the Urus SE hybrid super SUV, and finally the Temerario, unveiled at Monterey Car Week in August 2024.
Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO, emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainable growth from both financial and environmental perspectives, creating value for all stakeholders.
Lamborghini’s success stems from its strategy combining innovation, exclusivity, and performance. The company continues investing in research and development, exploring advanced technologies and next-generation materials. Each model offers extensive customization options and limited production runs to maintain high residual values.
With production based entirely in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Lamborghini remains a significant contributor to the Italian economy and automotive industry. The company has expanded its workforce by 30% over the past two years, adding 1,000 new employees as part of its largest-ever investment plan focused on product innovation and modernizing production processes.
