KPIT Technologies has entered into a strategic collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) to advance the development of software-defined vehicles, the companies announced Monday.
The partnership will focus on accelerating innovation cycles, reducing time-to-market for new features, and creating cost efficiencies by leveraging KPIT’s expertise in mobility technologies across multiple domains.
KPIT will assist MBRDI in rearchitecting the technology stack for next-generation vehicles as Mercedes-Benz continues its global digital transformation strategy. The German automaker has emphasized software development as a core component of its future vehicle architecture, enabling enhanced functionality, improved user experience, and greater operational efficiency.
