Even in his absence, David’s family could not be by his side. His sister, who lives in Kapu, Udupi, has requested that the final rites be carried out locally, as she is unable to travel. For now, his body has been moved to Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru, where it will remain until arrangements are made. The police have said the body will not be released until family members provide guidance, leaving fans and friends anxiously waiting for closure.

SS David’s passing is not just the loss of a filmmaker but the loss of a kind, gentle soul who loved his craft and the people around him.
