Kajol to be seen next in Maharagni: Queen of Queens
Kajol is all set to headline Maharagni: Queen of Queens, an action-packed revenge thriller marking the directorial debut of Charan Tej Uppalapati. The film brings together an ensemble cast including Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha, Jisshu Sengupta, Aditya Seal, Pramod Pathak, and Chhaya Kadam, and tells a gritty tale of a mother-daughter bond tested by vengeance.
Maharagni marks a major reunion, as Kajol and Prabhu Deva share the screen nearly three decades after their last appearance together in the 1997 cult favourite Minsara Kanavu. The film also marks Prabhu Deva’s return to acting after years of focusing on direction.
Set against a backdrop of emotional turmoil and high-octane action, the story follows Maya—played by Kajol—as she embarks on a relentless mission to seek justice. The role sees Kajol in a bold, intense avatar, showcasing her in full-throttle action mode—an exciting shift from her past roles.
