Jubilant Foodworks net profit at ₹49.3 crore, Q4 revenue up 33.6%

It posted a standalone net profit of ₹49.5 crore in Q4 up 93 per cent

Jubilant Foodworks Ltd’s (JFL) consolidated net profit in Q4FY25 was down 76.3 per cent year-on-year ₹49.3 crore; consolidated revenues grew 33.64 per cent to ₹2,103.18 crore. It posted a standalone net profit of ₹49.5 crore in Q4FY25 up 93 per cent and standalone revenue from operations grew 19 per cent to ₹1,587.2 crore year-on-year.

On the earnings call, Sameer Khetarpal, CEO and MD, Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd said FY25 was a year of turnaround for JFL, which led the industry, both in terms of growth and profitability, despite demand headwinds. He said this was aided by the company’s relentless focus on strategic decisions such as free delivery, 20 minute-delivery, menu innovation and increased pace of expansion of stores.

Geopolitical volatility

Responding to a query on whether there will be any impact of heightened geopolitical volatility on the company’s Turkey business, Khetarapal said, “We view these markets quite separately. If you go to Turkey, they are oblivious to any political changes… whether its Domino’s and COFFY, which is actually a Turkish brand internally… they are not concerned about any geopolitical risk, whether it’s tariffs, or Russia-Ukraine, or anything which is happening on the India-Pakistan border. The momentum in the core market and the consumer base in Turkey continues…”

The company operates 160 cafes under the brand COFFY in Turkey. It also operates 763 Domino’s stores in Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

“I feel good about the macroeconomic situation in Turkey, and the core thesis that we had, it’s the largest consumer base outside of Russia in Europe, and the youngest population with almost three to four times of per capita GDP versus India…. all of those things are intact, and therefore you see very solid performance of both Domino’s and COFFY in Turkey. So I will not worry too much about macroeconomic factors or any geopolitical risk impacting Turkey,” he added.

By the end of FY25, JFL’s group network count stood at 3,316 stores.

JFL is the leading QSR chain operator with franchise rights for three global brands — Domino’s, Popeyes and Dunkin’ — and two own-brands, Hong’s Kitchen and COFFY in Turkey.
