Actor Janhvi Kapoor turned showstopper for fashion designer Rahul Mishra at Lakme Fashion Week on Saturday. However, after photos and videos of her ramp walk surfaced online, netizens criticized her walk, calling it ‘hasty’ and ‘bouncy’. Many also urged designers to feature ‘real models’ in their shows.
Janhvi walked the ramp in a black Bandhani bodycon gown paired with a long black coat and heels. Midway through her walk, she removed the coat, struck a pose, and continued down the runway. While she carried herself with confidence, her ramp walk failed to impress netizens.

While reacting to her videos on Instagram, a troll wrote, “This is an insult to the real models.” “Bouncing around a runaway is a new thing for the nepos?” another user asked. A person commented, “Poo would scream MINUS.” “Too much!! Lost the rhythm.. feels like some teen trying to walk in heels,” another comment read.
This isn’t the first time Janhvi Kapoor has faced criticism for her ramp walk. Janhvi was previously called out when she walked for designer Rahul Mishra at Paris Haute Couture Week in June last year. However, on that occasion, netizens trolled her for being too slow, comparing her walk to ‘sleepwalking.’
On the professional front, Janhvi will next be seen in the much-anticipated film Peddi, opposite Ram Charan. She is currently shooting for two films – Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Param Sundari.
