Several Indian celebrities like Payal Kapadia, Nitanshi Goel and Chhaya Kadam have made striking appearances at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2025 so far. Among them, Jacqueline Fernandez who made an appearance as an honouree at the ‘Women in Cinema’ initiative by the Red Sea Film Foundation, was a shining example.
Apart from the honour, Fernandez stole the spotlight for another reason – her powerful style.
Sharing pictures from a panel discussion under the initiative, Fernandez wrote on Instagram, “Power packed panel of ‘Women in Cinema’. We discussed our moments of challenges joy and dreams together. It’s amazing how cinema can unite us all. Wearing @akok.in”

The Bollywood star looked radiant in a collared white shirt dress by Anamika Khanna’s prêt line AK|OK. While the sleek silhouette turned heads, the body ornament made of silver chains that stole the spotlight. The arm cuffs further added detailing and style to the look.
Fernandez, who is known for films such as Kick, Race 2, and Dishoom, among others, paired the outfit with black pumps, and minimal jewellery that included a bracelet watch, statement ring and earrings. Her hair was tied in a neat and sleek braid.

Interestingly, this wasn’t the only white ensemble she donned at the event. Sharing another set of pictures on Instagram earlier, she had written, “Cannes Day 1 with @redseafilm. Delighted to be an honouree at the women in cinema initiative that champions female storytellers.”

The look sees her wearing a pantsuit, featuring a white full-sleeved shirt and straight-fit ivory trousers. Fernandez added shine to the monochrome look with a gilded corset and accessorised it with steel-toned pumps and pearl earrings. She left her hair open, styled in a soft-wavy texture — all of it embodying style and sophistication, and understated glamour.
Interestingly, while Fernandez chose white for the panel discussion, she opted for an extravagant red gown at the ‘Women in Cinema’ gala held at Cannes 2025 for the initiative.
