A narrative has been created by some folks online that Nani’s The Paradise is much ado about nothing. As per this narrative, director Srikanth Odela has a budget of about Rs 70-80 Cr in mind for the movie. However, this figure is apparently too big for Nani’s shoes. Since he is not a Tier-1 hero, the film’s producer is allegedly finding it hard to mop up the required funds.
Recently, the film’s glimpse video was made on a budget of Rs 1 Cr. The makers spent a bomb on its making because they allegedly want to convince their potential financiers that the scale of The Paradise is going to be astonishing and so they can happily repose faith in their vision.
The makers of The Paradise have tried to put the record straight, saying that there are no production delays and that the film is on the right track, facing no fund crunch. “As much as we absorb all the love, we are also observing all the baseless hate that is coming against us. We will take all the love and also the hate and convert all that into an ENERGY that will drive our movie to be one of the greatest films to come out of Tollywood. And to all those who are rooting for us, all our departments are rigorously working in full swing to bring you all a new world. We will make a cinema we all will be proud of. Promise,” the makers said, shutting down naysayers.
The Paradise rumouredly features Nani in the role of a messiah belonging to a transgender community.
