For more than a year, it has been rumoured that Natural Star Nani’s collaboration with Tamil director Cibi Chakaravarthi of Don fame will be happening soon. In his latest interview, the actor suggested that nothing has materialized so far despite talks.
“Talks have been on,” Nani told Pinkvilla.
Nani also stated that director Karthik Subbaraj of Jigarthanda fame has pitched an idea. Nothing concrete came out of it. Incidentally, Karthik’s Retro will be locking horns with HIT 3 on May 1st.
The Hi Nanna actor stated that his only confirmed projects are The Paradise and Sujeeth’s directorial. Sujeeth is currently doing OG with Pawan Kalyan.
Nani awaits the release of HIT 3 on May 1st. It is directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu and stars Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. The actor has promoted the movie in Hindi and Malayalam. But it is unlikely that the investigative crime thriller will register even decent openings in non-Telugu languages. Â
