Infobip Deploys NVIDIA DGX B200 Systems to Advance AI Development in Central Europe

Infobip has integrated NVIDIA DGX B200 systems into its data center infrastructure, positioning the global communications platform among the first companies in Central Europe to deploy NVIDIA’s Blackwell GPU technology. The company will use the supercomputing systems for the IPCEI-CIS project, a European Union initiative aimed at developing next-generation communications platforms.

The deployment supports the EU’s broader digital sovereignty goals by ensuring communications infrastructure aligns with European data protection and transparency regulations. The IPCEI-CIS project specifically targets enhancing Europe’s competitiveness in the global communications sector while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Each NVIDIA DGX B200 system contains eight NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs with 1.4TB of GPU memory and two fifth-generation Intel Xeon CPUs. The hardware is designed to accelerate both training and inference processes for artificial intelligence models, providing the computational power needed for advanced AI development.

Damir Prusac, vice president of Research Alliances at Infobip, said the deployment enables the company to advance AI model development and deliver more efficient AI-driven solutions. Carlo Ruiz, vice president of Enterprise Solutions at NVIDIA, noted that global communications platforms face increasing demands for secure and scalable AI solutions.

The integration comes as generative AI adoption accelerates across enterprise communications. According to Gartner research, generative AI is expected to drive conversational customer experience in 80% of enterprises by 2028, compared to 20% in 2024.

Infobip operates as a cloud communications platform serving businesses across the customer journey lifecycle. The company’s infrastructure can reach over seven billion mobile devices globally through more than 9,700 connections, including 800 direct operator connections across six continents.

The Zagreb-based company, founded in 2006 by CEO Silvio Kutić, Roberto Kutić, and Izabel Jelenić, has received recognition as a leader in multiple industry reports. Recent acknowledgments include rankings as an established leader in Juniper Research’s Conversational AI Leaderboard and a CPaaS leader designation in the IDC MarketScape for the third consecutive time.

The communications platform industry has experienced growth as businesses seek unified solutions for customer engagement across multiple channels. Infobip’s platform combines Communications Platform as a Service and Contact Center as a Service capabilities with AI integration to address these market demands.

The NVIDIA partnership represents part of Infobip’s broader technology investment strategy, as the company positions itself to meet evolving requirements for AI-powered communications solutions in an increasingly digital business environment.
