Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday held a telephonic conversation with Tesla CEO Elon Musk. “Spoke to @elonmusk and talked about various issues, including the topics we covered during our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year,” PM Modi said in a post on X.
He further said that India remains committed to advancing the partnership with US in these domains. “We discussed the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation,” he added.

In Feburary, PM Modi met Elon Musk, which marked a key engagement during his two-day visit to the US. The meeting, held at Blair House just hours before Modi’s bilateral talks with President Donald Trump, covered a range of topics, including space, mobility, technology, and innovation.
Musk, now overseeing the Department of Government Efficiency in Trump’s administration, has had several meetings with Modi in the past. The two first connected in 2015 when Modi toured Tesla’s facility in San Jose.
