Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has said that it would build an eco park on the 400 acres of land near the Hyderabad Central University(HCU) at Kancha Gachibowli, which the Congress government tried to auction. He also cautioned prospective buyers of the auctioned land against taking possession, saying that, if voted to power, the BRS government would take back the land.
“We will take back every inch of that land and build an extraordinary eco park, akin to Central Park in Manhattan, for the future of Hyderabad,” he said.
Gift to people
“The move would serve as a gift to the students of HCU and the people of Hyderabad,” he added.
Appreciating the students for their fight to protect the land, he criticised the government for refusing to hold talks with the agitating students.
The BRS leader also slammed Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka for dismissing concerns about wildlife on the HCU campus, mocking his claim that images of animals were merely “artificial intelligence-generated.”
