
Ebitda for the last fiscal grew 33 per cent y-o-y to ₹844 crore
Himadri Speciality Chemical, India’s largest speciality carbon black maker, on Monday reported around 38 per cent year-on-year increase in its standalone net profit to ₹158.23 crore for the fourth quarter last fiscal, backed by highest-ever quarterly Ebitda.
The company’s Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) during Q4FY25 reached at around ₹232 crore. Its net profit for the last quarter of FY24 stood at ₹114.61 crore.
Himadri Speciality Chemical’s Ebitda for the last fiscal grew 33 per cent y-o-y to ₹844 crore, while net profit grew 36 per cent y-o-y at $558 crore in FY25. For the last fiscal revenue grew 10 per cent y-o-y to ₹4,596 crore from ₹4,185 crore for FY24.
Financial discipline
Commenting on the results, Anurag Choudhary, CMD & CEO, said, “Our focus on financial discipline continues to reflect in the resilience of our balance sheet, with a net positive cash balance of ₹371 crore. This strong financial footing positions us well to pursue strategic opportunities and sustain our growth trajectory.”
Over the past five years, the company had continued to demonstrate a robust financial performance, with revenues growing at a CAGR of 29 per cent since FY21, Choudhary added.
The company’s board recommended a final dividend of ₹0.60 per equity share of ₹1 each for the financial year 2024-25, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.
