Heads of State trailer: Starring Priyanka Chopra, Idris Elba and John Cena, the trailer of Heads of State dropped on Wednesday. After surviving the worst security breach in history, the US President Will Derringer (John Cena) and the UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke (Idris Elba) are confused where to turn to look for assistance. Following an aircraft crash, they end up in the middle of an unknown place where they have to fend for themselves, with no cavalry. What makes things even worse is that they don’t share a cordial relationship with each other and, in fact, despise one another. However, now that they know they are the targets of a powerful and ruthless foreign rival, the two have no option but to join forces. Yet, one question remains: is their union enough to ward off the imminent threat?
The trailer for the much-anticipated action comedy Heads of State is here, offering glimpses of the explosive and hilarious movie. As Will and Sam’s run for their lives progresses and they are yet to find a saviour, MI6 agent Noel Bisset (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) enters their lives like a ray of hope. “My mission is to deliver you to the most secure location on this continent,” she says. However, there’s a catch: she has no back-up.

But fret not, the over two and a half minute promo video keeps highlighting that she can do the job of 10 agents. So, with the help of Bisset and her fierce nature, the heads of the two states hatch a plan to thwart a global conspiracy that threatens the entire free world. Packed with high-octane action sequences featuring three stars known for acing stunts effortlessly, as well as fun moments, Heads of State is expected to offer an enthralling experience.
Also starring Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle and Paddy Considine, the Prime Video original is helmed by Ilya Naishuller and penned jointly by Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec and Harrison Query. The movie releases on July 2.
