SSMB29, the highly anticipated film directed by SS Rajamouli, is generating immense buzz. The film, reportedly starring Priyanka Chopra and Mahesh Babu, is set to be an epic production. According to reports, R Madhavan is set to join the cast, playing a powerful and key character. Although the makers haven’t officially confirmed his casting, fans are thrilled about the news. This would mark Madhavan’s first collaboration with the filmmaker. The movie also features Prithviraj Sukumaran. While SSMB29 is the working title of the film, we have learnt that the film is an African jungle adventure, and it is being touted as a “pan world” film. Reportedly Mahesh’s character is inspired by Lord Hanuman. The film’s shoot will continue until 2026, with a planned release in 2027.

Rajeev Sen, brother of Bollywood actor Sushmita Sen, has addressed criticism that he lives off his sister’s money and leads a lavish lifestyle while residing in his mother’s house. In a personal vlog, Rajeev clarified that he doesn’t need to prove his worth or success. He discussed his business ventures, saying, “I have had a successful jewellery business for a long time. I am a successful investor. I have earned a lot of money on my own and I am very proud of that fact.” Rajeev acknowledged that his mother’s house belongs to her and stated that if she asked him to leave, he would do so. He said he is distancing himself from claims of relying solely on his family.

Rahul Vaidya, who rose to fame after appearing on Indian Idol 1 in 2004, has slammed current singing reality shows, calling them “scripted”. Speaking with Instant Bollywood, Rahul claimed that show makers often prompt contestants to spin fabricated sad stories to boost TRPs. He stated that reality shows used to be genuine 20 years ago, but now they follow a formulaic pattern. The singer noted that contestants are often asked to share false stories, such as tales of poverty or family struggles, to garner sympathy and votes.

Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay are reportedly set to reprise their iconic roles as Tulsi and Mihir in the reboot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. A paparazzi video of the duo outside Ektaa R Kapoor’s house has gone viral, fuelling fan excitement. Smriti and Amar were spotted posing for cameras, as they attended Ektaa’s birthday bash in Mumbai. Fans have been eagerly waiting for an update on the show, with speculations of Mouni Roy and Karishma Tanna making cameo appearances. The upcoming offering is said to be a limited series with 150 episodes. Although the makers haven’t officially announced the show, reports suggest an announcement is planned to happen this month.

Gauahar Khan’s YouTube podcast MaaNoranjan recently featured Renuka Shahane, who opened up about her pregnancy and motherhood journey. Renuka shared that she got married at 35 and was eager to start a family. However, she faced societal pressure after giving birth to her first child, when a doctor friend of her husband, actor Ashutosh Rana,  asked her to lose weight just a day after delivery. Renuka recalled feeling shocked and said, “Yeh kaunsa pressure hai, samajh nahin aaya.” She felt that this comment prepared her for the societal pressure mothers face to bounce back after childbirth. Renuka and Ashutosh have two sons. On the work front, Renuka was last seen in a web show called  Dupahiya and Marathi film, Devmanus with Mahesh Manjrekar.
