The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed 18 committees for smooth organisation of the working committee meeting and the AICC session scheduled on April 8 and 9 in Ahmedabad — being held after 64 years in Gujarat. While the committees have tried to accommodate all those who matter in the party, the largest panel among them is the reception committee with 49 members, including a few “invitee” members that include veterans like former Union minister Dinsha Patel, and Mumtaz Patel, the daughter of late Congress MP Ahmed Patel.
