With less than a week remaining for the unveiling of the much-anticipated film, SSMB29, the buzz has reached fever pitch. Tentatively titled Globetrotter, the event will feature director SS Rajamouli launching the title and poster of the action adventure. In the lead up to the mega event, and in a bid to further up the ante, Mahesh Babu dropped a video message acknowledging the excitement. The event, which will take place at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, from 6 pm onwards, will be livestreamed on JioHotstar.

The Globetrotter event

“For months you have been asking…and now it’s the time. On November 15, 2025, the world will take its first step in our story,” said Mahesh Babu. Calling it a ‘never seen before reveal,’ the superstar appeals to everyone to experience what they have been creating with all heart – The Globetrotter event. Fans of the actor have shared his message extensively on social media. SS Karthikeya, Rajamouli’s son, shared the video. Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata commented on the post, saying, “Wooooohoooooo!!! Can’t wait K!!!!.” All the production arrangements for the event are already in full swing. According to sources, Mahesh will be seen as an archaeologist adventurer in the Rajamouli directorial. The film’s shoot is halfway through and the team is presently shooting for the climax episode in Hyderabad.

Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha

On Friday, Rajamouli unveiled the first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha. Calling him one of the “finest actors” he has met, the filmmaker commented, “After canning the first shot with Prithvi, I walked up to him and said you are one of the finest actors I’ve ever known. Bringing life to this sinister, ruthless, powerful antagonist KUMBHA was creatively very satisfying. Thank you, Prithvi, for slipping into his chair—literally (sic).” The film also features Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a crucial role.
