GIFT Nifty achieved an all-time high monthly turnover of $102.35 billion in May 2025, surpassing its previous record of $100.93 billion set in April 2025, an official release stated here on Sunday.
This milestone reflects the growing global interest and trust in GIFT Nifty as a benchmark for India’s growth story, it added. Trading turnover on NSE IX has been rising since the commencement of full-scale operations of GIFT Nifty on July 3, 2023. Since that day, GIFT Nifty has recorded a cumulative volume of over 43.28 million contracts, with a total turnover of $1.93 trillion till May 2025.
