The Game Developers Association of India (GDAI) and the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), set up by the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, have partnered to promote collaboration and innovation in the gaming and esports ecosystem.
“This strategic partnership is designed to enhance cooperation between GDAI and SEPC across key industry dimensions, including investment facilitation, international promotion, industry engagement, skill development, and global market access,” Sridhar Muppidi, Chairperson of GDAI, said in a statement on Wednesday.
The agreement was signed during the four-day WAVES (World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit) held recently in Mumbai.
The two organisations will promote investment opportunities, establish joint ventures, and help build a consortium of companies to boost India’s gaming and esports export capabilities.
