Samsung’s upcoming foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, will retain the same price tags in most markets. This information comes from PandaFlashPro, a tipster.
He claims that the information he shared is “confirmed”, we’re guessing by one of his sources. While he did note that “few countries” will get price increases, the prices will remain the same in most markets.
He did mention a $1,099 price tag for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, and a $1,899 price for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. That probably means that the US will keep the same price tags as last year. That’s good to hear, as Samsung did decide to bump up the price tags last year.
In addition to sharing the price info, he also talked about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 camera situation. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a main (wide) camera (1x), an ultrawide unit (0.6x), and also offer 2x “optical quality” image, even though that will be a digital zoom from the main camera.

He also noted that a 3x optical zoom will be on offer, courtesy of the phone’s telephoto camera. The last piece of information he shared is that the phone will be capable of providing digital zoom up to 30x. It will use its telephoto camera for that.
Samsung is allegedly preparing for an early July event in New York, in order to announce its new foldables. The company did not confirm anything just yet, but a recent report claims that will be the case.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE aka Z Flip 7 FE could also arrive during that event. Samsung’s first tri-fold smartphone was also mentioned, but chances are that the company will present that phone later in the year. We’ll have to wait and see. Samsung could at least tease it at the July event, though.
