Galaxy Buds Core’s Battery Will Put Buds 3 Pro to Shame

Galaxy Buds Core’s Battery Will Put Buds 3 Pro to Shame

Since last year, Samsung has been refreshing its TWS earphone series. The company announced the Galaxy Buds 3 series last year after nearly four years of waiting. Now, everything points to the company launching a new affordable model: the Galaxy Buds Core. Now, a report claims that the upcoming Galaxy Buds Core will boast a nice boost in battery life.

If you’re a Galaxy fan and want new earphones, but the Galaxy Buds 3 series is too expensive for you, you’re in luck. The Galaxy Buds Core will occupy a price segment below those earphones. The audio product will arrive as a direct successor to the 2023 Galaxy Buds FE.

Galaxy Buds Core aims to be the Galaxy Buds with the best battery life ever

91mobiles has spotted the upcoming affordable Galaxy earbuds in the BIS certification database. The listing confirms the battery capacity of the Galaxy Buds Core and their charging case. According to the report, each bud will have a 100mAh capacity cell, while the charging case boasts a 500mAh battery.

For reference, the original Galaxy Buds FE had a 60mAh battery in each earbud and a 479mAh cell in the charging case. In other words, the Galaxy Buds Core will have a 65% larger battery than the Galaxy Buds FE! The latter offered a battery life of between 4 and 6 hours of music playback. You can expect significantly higher numbers in the upcoming model. The improvement in the charging box’s cell capacity is more modest but still welcome.

It’s noteworthy that the Galaxy Buds Core will significantly outperform the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in this regard. Samsung’s most premium TWS earbuds feature only 48mAh in-ear batteries. This could make them the ideal option for those who require earbuds with a very long battery life.

We don’t have a concrete launch date for the Galaxy Buds Core just yet. However, these appearances on certification websites usually mean a release isn’t too far off. Previous whispers suggest that these new affordable earbuds might initially roll out in select regions, including places like Brazil, Indonesia, India, and Russia.
