Lifetime UAE Golden Visa
Dubai, July 9 — In a dramatic turn of events, Dubai-based visa consultancy Rayad Group has issued a formal apology and accepted full responsibility for spreading false information about the introduction of a lifetime UAE Golden Visa. The apology came just hours after the UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) categorically denied the existence of any such visa policy.
The ICP emphasized that no private consultancy or commercial entity is authorized to process or guarantee Golden Visa applications, reaffirming that all applications must be submitted through official government channels.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Rayad Group retracted its earlier claims, clarifying that the remarks made by its Managing Director were inaccurate and misleading.
“We apologise unreservedly for the public confusion caused by recent reports and commentary, and we take full responsibility for ensuring future communications are clear, accurate, and consistent with the UAE’s stringent regulatory frameworks,” the company stated.
Rayad Group acknowledged that public comments made by its leadership had misrepresented the scope of its services and the nature of the Golden Visa process.
“These statements did not accurately reflect our intent, our scope of services, or the limitations of our authority in relation to the UAE Golden Visa programme,” the firm added.
The company also clarified that there is no fixed-price or guaranteed Golden Visa offering, warning the public against falling for such claims. In response to the backlash, Rayad Group announced that it is discontinuing all private advisory services related to Golden Visas.
The controversy originated from a PTI report on July 6, which stated that the UAE had launched a “new nomination-based Golden Visa” and selected India and Bangladesh for its first phase. The report further claimed that individuals could obtain a lifetime UAE Golden Visa by paying AED 100,000 (around ₹23.3 lakh), and that Rayad Group had been selected to pilot the initiative in India.
The ICP’s swift response and the Rayad Group’s public retraction highlight the UAE government’s firm stance against misinformation and its commitment to transparency in immigration and residency policies.
