
Endurance Technologies Limited has announced plans to establish a new manufacturing facility for Lithium-Ion Battery packs with a capital expenditure of approximately Rs. 47.3 crore. The announcement was made through a regulatory filing to the BSE and National Stock Exchange of India.
The new greenfield project will be located in Mindewadi, Taluka Maval, District Pune, Maharashtra. The facility will produce various configurations of Lithium-Ion Battery packs designed for mobility applications and battery energy storage systems.
According to the company’s disclosure, the facility will have a production capacity of approximately 35,000 packs per month. This capacity will be added in phases beginning from the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025-26, with the product launch scheduled for January 2026.
The investment will be financed entirely through internal accruals, as stated in the filing made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.
Endurance Technologies indicated that this expansion represents a strategic initiative to meet growing demand in the mobility and energy storage sectors. The new product line complements the offerings of its subsidiary, Maxwell Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., which currently designs, develops, and supplies battery management systems for various applications.
The company described the investment as “an important commitment to include in its portfolio, products promoting sustainability in mobility and other applications.” The battery packs will initially cater exclusively to the domestic market.
