An unidentified man, allegedly drunk, was seen doing push-ups outside the busy Swargate bus terminal in Pune, as passersby shared the video on social media sparking hilarious comments.
The footage shows the person doing a one-hand push up under the Swargate flyover, unfazed by the traffic as autorickshaws went past him, reportedly on Sunday night. No one, including the autorickshaw drivers, seemed to be interested in the man as he continued his push-ups.

The caption for the video of the incident that was first shared on Reddit read ‘Anda burji stayed back for fitness class’. Some netizens reacted saying the person was pushing the road down while others said the man was trying to show off his fitness fad. One user enquired about joining this fitness class, while another person commented that the secret behind his energy was “desi Daru” (Indian-made liquor).
Swargate chowk is one of the busiest junctions in the city with buses, autorickshaws, cars and other vehicles zooming past the bridge almost throughout the day. Given the busy nature of the terminal, many wondered how the person managed to escape being hauled up by the irate drivers or traffic police.
