
Real estate major DLF on Wednesday said it is selling its IT SEZ park in Kolkata to Srijan Group for around ₹693 crore in a slump sale.
“The company today entered into a definitive Master Framework Agreement (MFA) with Srijan Realty and its subsidiary company(ies) for the sale of its IT/ITeS SEZ comprising freehold land parcel admeasuring around 25.90 acres, situated in Kolkata along with constructed building namely DLF Techno Park with a gross leasable area of around 10,54,357 square feet. The agreed consideration is around ₹693 crore, subject to requisite adjustments as agreed in the MFA,” DLF said in a stock exchange filing.
“The turnover of Kolkata IT/ITeS SEZ business proposed to be sold for FY 2023-24 was around ₹86.26 crore (viz. ~2.11 per cent of turnover of the company),” it added.
The real estate major in November last year said that one of its subsidiaries had entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Kolkata Tech Park 1 business undertaking project to RDB Primarc Techno Park (an affiliate of Primarc and RDB groups) on a slump sale basis for a consideration of around ₹637 crore.
Kolkata Tech Park 1 is one of the largest IT park in eastern India.
