Director Maruthi talks about Prabhas’ The Raja Saab 

Teaser shows how much I admire Prabhas

These days, all top stars’ films are either action entertainers or fantasy dramas. But The Raja Saab being a horror comedy was something that particularly excited fans. Moreover, Prabhas’s new look and uber cool kept them waiting endlessly. While the film is in the last leg of production, recently, for the first time, director Maruthi spoke about The Raja Saab at a beach festival in Machilipatnam. He stated that the film will surpass fans’ expectations. “I never spoke about The Raja Saab so far, but for the first time I am speaking about it officially,” he started off. “I want my work to do the talking; hence, I refrained from talking all the while. There’s no doubt that I will deliver more than what you fans are expecting from me and Prabhas. I have seen the kind of love you are showering on Prabhas; you will also get to see my side of love — how much he means to me in the teaser,” said Maruthi. 

The teaser is releasing on June 16, and the filmmakers are holding a huge event in Hyderabad.  Prabhas is starring for the first time in a horror and romantic comedy, and the film is slated for release on December 5, 2025. The story revolves around a youngster who sets his eyes on ancestral property to bail him out of a cash crunch. Apart from Prabhas in the titular role, The Raja Saab also features Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan as the leading ladies.
