Did Maruthi deliberately confuse viewers?

In an interview on the day the teaser of The Raja Saab came out, director Maruthi stated that Prabhas wouldn’t be seen in a dual role in the film. What, then, happens to the assumption that Prabhas will be seen as a grandfather and his grandson? Possibly, the director wants the audience to believe that Prabhas has a single role until the movie’s release.

There is a theory that Sanjay Dutt’s character’s spirit takes over the body of Prabhas’ character. Maruthi has been highlighting the fact that the film is the “biggest horror-fantasy” ever made in Indian cinema. The fantasy element is where its USP probably lies.

The Raja Saab, co-starring Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar, has music by Thaman. With Rajeevan Nambiar and Karthik Palani streamlining production design and cinematography, the film is produced on a massive scale by People Media Factory.
