Diana Penty and Diljit Dosanjh turn detectives in Detective Sherdil trailer

Diana Penty is all set to stun in an all-new avatar in Detective Sherdil opposite Diljit Dosanjh. She will be seen as a no-nonsense, razor-sharp detective in the thriller as she shares the screen with the ever-entertaining actor and singer Diljit. The trailer of the upcoming film was launched today, June 10th 2025, and it packs a perfect punch, blending in mystery, comedy, and a whole lot of cat-and-mouse chaos in the right proportions! The film is a dark comedy directed by debutant director Ravi Chhabriya. Along with Diana Penty, Diljit will also be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in it, bringing forth mystery and wit.

The trailer features punchy one-liners, thrilling twists, and Diana and Diljit’s Tom-and-Jerry-style chemistry, which is already impressing fans. Both actors take on the roles of detectives, looking every bit the part. ‘Detective Sherdil’ is the story of a unique detective who is tasked with solving a murder case that is far from ordinary. The film will not be released in theatres but will begin streaming on OTT from June 20, 2025.
