Delhi News Live Updates: A fire broke out at a private hospital in East Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar, an official from the Delhi Fire Service said. While no casualties were reported, some patients were immediately evacuated after the blaze started in an air conditioner and a hospital bed.

In other news, the Delhi government has ordered an audit of over 2.6 lakh CCTV cameras installed by the Public Works Department (PWD) during the previous AAP-led administration. Officials said on Sunday that the department’s principal secretary has directed a thorough inspection to verify their physical presence and ensure they are in working condition.

Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrations: As a large number of people gather to offer namaz on Eid Al-fitr at Makki Jama Masjid, Inderlok, DCP North Raja Banthia said, “A very elaborate security arrangements have been made in North district. Officers, including paramilitary forces, have been deployed. Our social media monitoring team is doing sentiment analysis.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his greetings to people on the occasion expressing hope that the festival would strengthen the spirit of hope, harmony, and kindness in society.
