Hrithik is not alone in pursuing such protections. Several other prominent figures from the entertainment industry have taken similar legal steps in recent times. Actors like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and filmmaker Karan Johar have also approached the courts seeking safeguards for their personality rights. Singer Kumar Sanu has similarly sought protection, covering not only his name and image but also his voice, vocal style, techniques, mannerisms, and even signature.

He has also requested protection against unauthorised or unapproved use and commercial exploitation by third parties, As per the plea, the same could potentially create confusion or mislead the public, resulting in dilution of his persona.

This growing trend highlights the increasing importance celebrities place on protecting their identity and persona from unauthorised use and commercial exploitation. It is an effort to prevent misuse by third parties seeking to gain profit without consent.
