Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav got a traditional welcome on his visit to the Mithilanchal region in Bihar earlier this week. In Darbhanga, he was welcomed with a paag, the traditional headgear, and several scarfs that had intricate Mithila painting motifs on them. Yadav, who was on a personal visit to the region, also met with the scion of the erstwhile royal family of Darbhanga.
