Deepika Padukone recently shared a heartwarming click from daughter Dua Padukone Singh’s first birthday. Ranveer Singh and her had welcomed Dua on September 8, 2024. The actress dropped a photo from the celebrations, flaunting the cake that she lovingly made for her daughter. She captioned the post as, “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday!” The photo does not feature Ranveer, Dua or Deepika. It only showcases the beautiful cake the mother lovingly made for her toddler.

The cake, seemingly a chocolate creation, came with a rich brown colour. Deepika planted a single candle on top, to denote Dua’s first birthday. Her industry colleagues left heartfelt comments. While Bhumi Pednekar dropped a red heart, Bipasha Basu wrote, “Happy 1 Dua & Baby Mama & papa.” The post has been liked by Tamannaah Bhatia, Tara Sutaria and more.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had announced their pregnancy with a joint post on February 29, 2024. The post had featured baby-related motifs like onesies and shoes. It had the text “September 2024” indicating the expected due month for their first child. The couple had also shared maternity photos in black-and-white. The intimate clicks received quite the attention on social media. She gave birth to Dua in Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital.

Before the arrival of the baby, the couple were also spotted seeking blessings at Siddhivinayak Temple. Deepika was seen in a green saree with a similar blouse. Her baby bump was visible as she visited the temple bare feet.
