CSIR to hold two-day start-up event on April 22, 23

It will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to share insights, network and explore collaboration opportunities

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) will organise a Start-up Conclave here on April 22 and 23 to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the research and technology ecosystem.

The two-day event will be jointly organised by CSIR institutes – Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology and National Geophysical Institute.

“It will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to share insights, network and explore collaboration opportunities,” Vinay Nandicoori, Director of CCMB, said.

Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Science and Technology, will inaugurate the event. N. Kalaiselvi, Director-General of CSIR, will deliver a special address. 

“The event will showcase the startups and technologies promoted by CSIR, including those those nurtured by the three Hyderabad-based CSIR labs,” IICT Director Srinivasa Reddy said.

“The upcoming startup event will foster collaboration on critical R&D solutions to mitigate earthquake hazards and optimising resource exploration and management,” NGRI Director Prakash Kumar said.
