Here’s a look at the expected result dates and last year’s key statistics for major state and central boards, including CBSE, Telangana, Punjab (PSEB), and Madhya Pradesh (MP Board).
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10, 12: The CBSE conducted the Class 10 and 12 examinations from February 15 to March 13, 2025, with nearly 38 lakh students participating. The results are anticipated to be announced in the second week of May 2025 on the official website cbseresults.nic.in.
In the previous year, the Class 10 pass percentage stood at 93.60%, marking an increase of 0.48% from the previous year. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) performed exceptionally well, achieving a pass percentage of 99.09% . In 2024, the overall pass percentage for the SSC exams was 91.31%. Girls outperformed boys, securing a pass percentage of 93.23% compared to 89.42% for boys . Notably, Nirmal district achieved the highest pass percentage at 99.09%, while Vikarabad recorded the lowest at 65.10%
Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Class 10, 12: The PSEB conducted the Class 10 and 12 examinations in February and March 2025. The results are anticipated to be released in the coming weeks on the official website pseb.ac.in.
Last year, the Class 10 pass percentage was 97.24%, with girls outperforming boys by achieving a pass percentage of 98.11% compared to 96.47% for boys . For Class 12, the pass percentage stood at 92.47%, with girls again leading at 95.74% compared to 90.74% for boys .
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) Class 10, 12: The MP Board conducted the Class 10 and 12 examinations in February and March 2025. The results are expected to be announced by mid-May 2025 on the official website mpresults.nic.in.
In the previous session, the Class 10 pass percentage was 58.10%, while Class 12 recorded a pass percentage of 64.48% . These figures indicate a slight improvement from 2023, where the pass percentages were 55.10% for Class 10 and 55.28% for Class 12 .
