Despite earlier speculation, producer AM Rathnam has confirmed that Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri will not be appearing in Part 1 of the upcoming period film. This statement clarifies previous rumors regarding her involvement in the project. She will be seen in the second part as Mughal princess Roshanara Begum.
Nargis Fakhri is an American actress and model who primarily works in Bollywood films. She gained recognition for her debut in the 2011 romantic drama Rockstar, for which she received a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Female Debut. Prior to her acting career, Fakhri was a successful model, appearing on America’s Next Top Model and in various international campaigns. She has since starred in several Hindi films, including Madras Cafe, Main Tera Hero, and Housefull 3.
