BTS’ V, aka Kim Taehyung has recently purchased a new apartment. The singer has reportedly bought a swanky penthouse in Seoul’s famous Gangnam neighbourhood. As per News1, the apartment in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu is priced at 14.2 billion KRW or more than Rs 89 crore.

About V’s new real estate investment

Although it is not confirmed whether V is making this apartment his permanent residence, it is said to be of 273.96 square meters. The building was previously known as The Penthouse Cheongdam. However, it has been recently renamed to PH 129. Interestingly, the place comprises 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The reports further suggest that V bought the house in cash and did not have to loan any money. There is also said to be no separate mortgage.

The contract was signed in the early days of May. However, the ownership was transferred to him on September 17, 2025. The balance was paid in full by the singer this month. The building is said to have 29 penthouses. It has 20 floors and 6 basement floors.
