Bank Holiday Today: Banks in Bengaluru (Karnataka), India, will remain closed today, Wednesday, April 30, 2025, on account of Akshaya Tritiya and Basava Jayanti, according to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) calendar for 2025.
The bank holidays in India are detailed and are determined according to RBI regulations, which include the Negotiable Instruments Act, RTGS holidays, and various regional and national observances.
Additionally, banks are also closed on the second and fourth Saturdays and all Sundays as mandatory weekly days off.
Nonetheless, physical bank branches may be closed, but online banking services will remain operational, and customers can utilise net banking, mobile banking, and UPI services without interruption.
