Kollywood filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran is known for the recent Good Bad Ugly. Starring Ajith in the lead, the gangster action thriller flopped in Telugu but became a sensational hit in Tamil.
The buzz in the town is that Adhik has now cast his eye on making a Tollywood debut. And his first Telugu hero is speculated to be Nandamuri Balakrishna.
Good Bad Ugly was produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It is probable that the production house is playing a role in facilitating Adhik’s Tollywood debut. And since the banner has had good relations with Balayya (whose Veera Simha Reddy it bankrolled), Adhik might have had an easy passage.
Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 is scheduled for a Dasara release this year. He is also slated to collaborate with Gopichand Malineni, whose project will be officially rolled out on June 10, marking the hero’s birthday.
