Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are blessed with a baby girl. The couple shared the news through a joint Instagram post on Monday evening. The couple shared a post featuring swans, which read: “Blessed with a baby girl.” The couple shared the baby was born on March 24.
Their post was soon flooded with congratulatory messages. Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty dropped a heart and evil eye in the comment section. Actor Vikrant Massey wrote, “God bless your family.” Actors Vaani Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, Parineeti Chopra, Mrunal Thakur, Bhumi Pednekar, and Masaba Gupta, among others, congratulated the couple.
Just a week ago, Athiya and Rahul had also shared beautiful pictures from their pregnancy photo shoot. Athiya was seen sporting various outfits for the shoot.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2023, announced their pregnancy in November 2024. They had shared a note, “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon.”
Athiya and KL Rahul had met through a mutual friend back in 2019. After secretly dating for a couple of years, the actor-cricketer duo tied the knot in January, 2023, at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse. The wedding was attended by their close friends and family.
