Aston Martin has officially launched the new Vanquish in India, marking the return of the iconic nameplate to the luxury car market. The vehicle comes with a premium price tag of ₹8.85 crore (ex-showroom, without options).
The 2025 Vanquish represents a significant evolution in Aston Martin’s lineup, featuring a formidable 5.2-liter V12 Twin-Turbo engine that generates 835PS of power and 1000Nm of torque. This powerplant enables the Vanquish to reach an impressive top speed of 214mph (345 km/h), making it the fastest series production car in Aston Martin’s history.
The new model boasts an 80mm increase in wheelbase compared to its predecessors, enhancing both interior space and driving dynamics. The chassis incorporates Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers and an Electronic Rear Differential (e-diff) that can transition from fully open to 100% locked in just 135 milliseconds, providing superior traction control.
The V12 engine delivers the highest specific power output ever achieved in an Aston Martin at 160PS per liter. Significant hardware improvements include a strengthened cylinder block, redesigned cylinder heads, new intake and exhaust ports, and higher-speed turbochargers with reduced inertia for improved throttle response.
An innovative Boost Reserve function has been incorporated to deliver more reactive power, particularly beneficial during overtaking maneuvers. The engine is paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission featuring enhanced shift speeds and driver interaction.
The Vanquish’s exterior showcases contemporary elegance with extended front-engine proportions and design elements inspired by Aston Martin’s motorsport heritage. The front features a new bumper, fender, and grille design, with a 13% increase in grille surface area to improve cooling. Matrix LED headlights introduce a distinctive light signature with integrated Daytime Running Lights.
A standard panoramic glass roof features specialized tinting that allows 6% light transmission with UV protection. Other exterior highlights include flush-fit door handles, frameless door mirrors for improved aerodynamics, and a rear design with broad haunches and a Kamm Tail featuring an integrated decklid spoiler.
The interior is configured as a luxurious two-seater focused on driver and passenger experience. It features a 10.25-inch TFT driver display and a 10.25-inch Pure Black touchscreen with full online connectivity. The infotainment system includes 3D mapping, lane guidance, real-time traffic overlays, and wireless Apple CarPlay support.
Sound comes through a 15-speaker, double-amplified Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system that comes standard with the vehicle.
Production of the Vanquish will be limited to fewer than 1,000 examples annually, emphasizing its exclusivity in the ultra-luxury sports car segment. The vehicle is available to order immediately, with the first deliveries expected to arrive in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The new Vanquish sits at the pinnacle of Aston Martin’s front-engined sports car range, showcasing the company’s in-house engineering capabilities in engine technology, chassis dynamics, carbon fiber bodywork, and modern luxury interiors.
