Aster DM Healthcare has invested nearly ₹480 crore to set up its fourth multispecialty hospital in Bengaluru. The company informed stock exchanges that it has signed a lease agreement to establish a 430-bed facility in Sarjapur.
The first phase of the project, comprising 300 beds, is expected to be operational in the second half of FY27, with the remaining 130 beds scheduled for completion in FY29.
Sarjapur Road is rapidly emerging as Bengaluru’s next major IT hub, driven by robust infrastructure development and strategic location advantages. The Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) has announced plans to develop a state-of-the-art IT hub spread across 1,050 acres. This initiative is complemented by a surge in approved residential and commercial projects, positioning Sarjapur as a high-growth corridor. Its proximity to established IT zones such as Whitefield, Outer Ring Road (ORR), and Marathahalli, along with a proposed Metro line under Phase 3, further enhances its appeal, the company said.

The shares of the company closed at ₹535.15, up by 3.03 per cent on the BSE.
