Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group’s Indian flagship, inaugurated a new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) dealership in Nizamabad, Telangana on Friday, expanding its presence in the state with its fourth such facility.
The new dealership, Khushi Trucks, is strategically located on Hyderabad Road opposite Maruti Arena in Nizamabad. It features seven dedicated quick-service bays and will offer Ashok Leyland’s complete range of LCV products including BADA DOST, DOST, SAATHI, PARTNER, and MiTR.
“Telangana has been a key market for us and we are excited to further strengthen our presence in this region,” said Mr. Viplav Shah, Head of LCV Business at Ashok Leyland. He noted that nearly 70% of their customers continue to visit their workshops even after warranty periods expire.
The company has recently expanded its product portfolio by entering the sub-2-ton segment with the launch of SAATHI, which offers a payload capacity of 1,120 kg. Their BADA DOST model, available in four variants, features an 80 HP BS6 engine, while the PARTNER serves the 4-ton payload category with various body length options.
Pricing for Ashok Leyland’s LCV range starts from ₹6,59,999 for the SAATHI model, with the BADA DOST priced from ₹10,25,500, DOST variants from ₹8,35,000, PARTNER from ₹17,80,000, and MiTR Bus from ₹26,50,000.
The company currently operates more than 1,700 exclusive outlets across India, maintaining a service center approximately every 75 kilometers on major highways. Ashok Leyland has established itself as one of the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers in the country with over 550,000 LCVs currently operating throughout India.
