Aryan Khan’s debut show, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, has created quite the buzz. The preview was unveiled last week, and the series will be released on September 18. It stars an ensemble cast including Lakshya, Sahher Bamba, Raghav Juyal, Mona Singh, Bobby Deol, Manish Chaudhari, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa and Rajat Bedi, among others. Chaudhari plays the character of a seemingly discourteous producer in the show. Talking to Filmfare about playing a producer for the first time, he shared, “Working in The Ba***ds of Bollywood has been a fantastic experience for me. I think the audience can expect a very different kind of portrayal from me, something I have never done before, and I hope I am able to pleasantly surprise them with this character. I have been in the Hindi film industry for 30 years now. I have had various interactions of a wide variety with producers over the entire span of my career. And to now play a producer in Bads has been a fantastic ride.”

He recalled that reading the scenes with Aryan was a lot of fun as they were wonderfully written. He also praised Shah Rukh Khan’s son for his focus and interest in the craft. The actor continued, “I was told by the casting director, Karan Mally, that Aryan wanted to read with me, which I did. The scenes I read were wonderfully written and a lot of fun. My first impression (of Aryan) was just how focused he was on the story he wanted to tell. It was really nice to see someone so young with that much focus and interest in the craft.”
He further stated, “Working with Aryan Khan on his directorial debut was a great experience, mainly because of his youthful energy. He brings fresh ideas to the way he wants to tell a story, and that energy is truly infectious. Being around him made me feel extremely energetic and excited throughout the process.”
