The wait is finally over. Aryan Khan has unveiled the trailer of his directorial debut series The Ba***ds of Bollywood and it is every bit dramatic, cheeky, and unapologetic as fans hoped it would be. With seven episodes packed with glamour, ambition, and plenty of sharp humour, the show is shaping up to be one of the most exciting new releases of the year.
At the centre of the story is Aasmaan Singh, played by Lakshya, a young dreamer who dares to believe he can conquer the world’s most colourful film industry. Supporting him on this journey are his witty best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), his sharp manager Sanya (Anya Singh), and his family, uncle Avtar (Manoj Pahwa), mother Neeta (Mona Singh), and father Rajat (Vijayant Kohli).
But dreams are never easy to chase. Aasmaan’s biggest test comes in the form of superstar Ajay Talvar, essayed by Bobby Deol, who brings all the firepower of a seasoned performer. The stakes grow even higher when Aasmaan is cast opposite Ajay’s daughter, Karishma (Sahher Bambba), leading to a mix of rivalry, ego clashes, and personal battles. The plot thickens further with Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhari), a cunning producer, and Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi), a faded star yearning for a comeback.

Adding to the hype, the trailer teases a spectacular line-up of guest appearances. From Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan to filmmaker SS Rajamouli, rapper Badshah, and Disha Patani, the cameos promise to be a treat for Bollywood lovers. The buzz is even bigger with reports of the three Khans sharing screen space in a rare, historic moment.
Music plays a big role in this series, with tracks composed by Shashwat Sachdev, Anirudh Ravichander, and Ujwal Gupta. Songs like Badli Si Hawa Hai and Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri have already made their way into fan playlists, building anticipation for the premiere. A mix of wit, spectacle, and no-filter storytelling, The Ba***ds of Bollywood is set to premiere on September 18, streaming globally on Netflix.
